Xbox Game Pass subscribers will soon be able to use every current and future playable character in Riot Games League of Legends, League of Legends: Wild Riftand appreciate, Microsoft and Riot announced on Thursday. The benefits are available in League of Legends and appreciate from December 12, and they are coming Wild Gorgethe mobile version of Leaguesometime in January.
The two gaming giants originally announced their partnership and the generous unlocks back in June. For lovers of League, Wild Gorgeand appreciate, the perks can be very useful; they let you play as any character in the games massive rosters (League of Legends offers over 140 champions!) without spending any extra time or money. And Game Pass subscribers don’t just get benefits in those three Riot titles: Legends of RuneterraRiot’s card game, and Teamfight Tacticshis auto battler game, will also have bonuses.
Riot is also bringing the PC games to the Xbox PC app. “As part of this partnership, the titles available on PC will be accessible through the Xbox app on PC and through a Riot account,” Xbox Game Pass Community Lead Megan Spurr said in a statement to The edge. “Once a player’s Xbox Game Pass and Riot accounts are linked, benefits will be available through both accounts.”
